It ain’t GG, but it is Bach and that’s what counts !

Pat,
I love that piece of music, and like GG, have studied it since I was a child. It is so cheerful, to play and to hear.

Hi all
Isn’t Glenn Gould making a few brief cameo appearences in Gödel, Escher Bach ? I seem to remember his name coming up when I tried to read that book – but sadly failed coz I is 2 stupid 2 grok this. Gödel, Escher, Bach will definetly trip you out, but in a good way. Infinity loops, fractals, Moebius strips, the Krabbenkanon and a turtle falling through the grooves of a Bach recording:

Hello! Bob,
I have not got any chilly replies from f_minor. No, I got only two replies.
I am glad to get them.

Hello Iori --
I am very much enjoying your Italian Concerto. Thanks!
You may have been surprised at f_minor's chilly replies.
Thanks also for the image of the sheet music. You might be interested in an analysis of the symmetry and mathematical architecture of Chopin's piano compositions in the book "Metamagical Themas" by Douglas Hofstadter (who also wrote "Godel, Escher, Bach"). You can see the original Chopin essay here
I read "Godel, Escher, Bach”, and I was so impressed that I started writing Goldberg stories on HP.
