Dear Ian,
the disc CD-694 was released indeed, since I have a copy of it. I only saw it once in my life and it was the time I bought it from amazon (maybe it was amazon.co.uk) as a used CD; now I wanted to paste the link here, but for some reason it seems to lead to another CD. Strange... Anyway, if you or others need help about the CD, I can check it.
Best regards,
Mariassy
P.s. If any of you want to have copies of M&A CD617, 639, 651, 654 & 683 (the one with the Chopin 3rd Sonata - much better than the SONY version), I have extra copies of each.

Dear Hideki,
I should probably refer you to my email dated 21 September 1995 in the
f-minor archive where I listed the Music & Arts issues. At that time I had
been receiving the CD's direct from Music & Arts as they came out. CD-694
was announced but I was never able to get a copy before M&A had to shut down
their Gould provision. So I even wonder if it ever made it past their
pressing plant or stores into the wild.
The contents for CD-694 was to be:
Music & Arts CD 694
Glenn Gould: Early recordings, 1951-1955
Bach, J. S.: Concerto No 1 in D minor BWV 1052 29 March 1955
Bach, J. S.: Italian Concerto (in F major) BWV 971 21 October 1952
Beethoven: Bagatelles Op 126 28 September 1952
Beethoven: Variations in F major Op 34 28 September 1952
Weber: Konzertstck in F minor Op 79 6 March 1951
I wonder if any escaped before the gate shut.
