Hello Pat,
Yes, the Bach trilogy is out which of course is good news in itself.
What is less good is that there is nothing but the films -- no outtakes!
-- except short introductory liner notes by Michael Stegemann. The
apparent video degradation of especially the "An Art of the Fugue"
hasn't been dealt with either. At least I cannot detect and restoration
work being done. Haven't compared the sound on the Goldberg film with
the previous DVD, so I can't say anything for certain as far as the
audio is concerned. Anyway, all three films are at last available!
Your message about the upcoming Sony releases made me search Ammazon.de.
Here's what I found:
http://www.amazon.de/Glenn-Gould--Acoustic-Orchestrations-Gould/dp/B008L8OFJU/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1342269210&sr=1-1
This must be the Scriabin 5th project finished, or...?
Regards,
Jörgen
