It was nice to hear on the radio Glenn Gould play his 1981 recording  of 
the Goldbergs in honor of Bach's Birthday.  The radio announcer stated  right 
after the recording (not quite verbatim, but close): "Now that is the best  
birthday present to honor Bach."
