Off topic of sorts. I just popped my CD into my Mac and am listening to GG play the Grieg Piano Sonata opus 7.  It is incredibly beautiful and I am amazed that practically no one plays it in recital....a great under-appreciated gem.   Of course GG plays it with all the penetrating insight that his mind brought to the subject.  I just love this......
