  Mmmm. I doubt that you spent more time than I did at the Mabuhay Gardens Club watching 'The Screamers' or 'Tuxedo Moon'. I saw Devo live, Patti Smith live twice, Lou Reed live, Iggy Pop live. I saw Jim Morrison and The Doors live, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin too, Johnny Winter too. Neil Young too, UB40 too, Dan Hicks and his Hot Licks as well. I saw Count Basie twice. I've seen Etta James live. I saw The Cockette's 'splinter group "The Angels of Light" at least 4 times, I've seen Harry Bellafonte and Miriam Makeba live, Rudolf Nureyev and Margot Fonteyn too. I've seen David Cassidy live (OH YEAH I THINK I LOVE YOU) and William Burroughs reading live, I've seen The Joy Division Live and KRAFTWERK too. I've seen Bruce Springsteen live, Alice Cooper too, The Berlin Philharmonic too, Roxy Music too, Boz Scaggs was the opening act. I've seen Elvis Costello live, The Lounge Lizards live. Sorry I missed The Clash but you didn't ask me nicely. This ridiculously wonderful list is not exhaustive and I am not exhausted. You really hate the N double A CP crowd eh?

Ms. Jensen, how old are you?  Your opinion of Facebook reminds me of numerous AARP members who over the years have vocalized their disdain for whatever new form of technology has flooded market.  I happen to like Facebook.  It's a technological trend that I am embracing and using to my advantage.  I'm just curious if you thought everyone would agree with you because this forum is supposed to be a group of serious intellectuals who look down upon childish trends, or if you were looking to pick a fight with an ignorant Rock 'n Roll Gould fan such as myself?  Oh well, never mind, after all this is a Glenn Gould forum, not a technology forum, and as we all know, GG had absolutely no interest in stupid technological trends...
